Winter 1993. The same day, in unclear circumstances, teenage siblings die. The police classify both deaths as tragic, independent of each other Easter 2013. After seven years of work at the Institute of Investigative Psychology in Huddersfield, Sasha Załuska returns to the coast. Paweł "Buli" Bławicki, the owner of the music club in Sopot, reports to the profiler. He suspects that his accomplice - former singer and author of the hit Girl from the North - wants to kill him. Załuska is to provide him with evidence for this. The profiler is reluctant to get involved. However, when the shooting takes place, Załuska is forced to take up the challenge. It soon turns out that the club murder is connected with the events of 1993, and the murdered knew who was to blame for the death of his siblings. One of the keys to solving the puzzle may be a song from years ago.
